Ma On Shan Promenade is an urban waterfront park in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong. The promenade occupies an area of 5.2 hectares and is 3.2 km long. Located along the coast of Ma On Shan, the Ma On Shan Promenade is the second large-scale waterfront promenade in Sha Tin. It overlooks Sha Tin Hoi and offers a magnificent view of the peaks of Pat Sin Leng, featuring a panorama of the sea and the sky.
- While the promenade offers a great leisure space for the local residents, it doesn’t quite provide any interesting features for sunset photographer.
- Visibility to the sunset is average as the sun will soon be hidden behind the hill on the opposite side.
- The area is well connected with MTR.
- Lots of local residents here having their evening jogs but seldom anyone here taking pictures.
